Can you work outside business hours?
For scheduled work, yes — say so when you book and he'll plan around your opening hours rather than through them.
An employee quit with a key. What now?
Rekey the locks that key opened — that's what stops it working. On a properly planned master key system that's usually one or two locks rather than the whole building, which is exactly why the system pays for itself the first time somebody leaves.
Can you add to a system we already have?
Usually — it depends on how the original was planned and whether anyone kept the records. Bring him what documentation you have and he'll tell you where you stand.
Our front door won't latch properly.
It's usually the door closer or the strike plate alignment, not the lock. That makes it a service call rather than a replacement — and worth fixing before the door stops locking at all.
